The Maple Leaf Flip was a charming Seattle Craftsman built in 1923 that needed a lot of love. For this project I was hired by the real estate developer to consult on all of the interior design finishes, exterior paint colors as well as overall space planning. Because this home was going to be listed to sell, we wanted to make sure the finishes chosen appealed to a range of potential buyers. I decided to go with an overall neutral color palette mixed with warm wood tones and timeless materials such as marble. I also wanted to make sure the original millwork and the home’s charming character were highlighted. The basement was completely unfinished so a rec room, bedroom, laundry room, and second bathroom were added.
